just cleaned the floor

So, we just cleaned the floors today. they never look that bad,but when you see the water afterwards, it is disturbingly dirty. the water is a dark gray. it is nasty. i think we changed the water between the bathroom and the kitchen. either way, they both were well overdue for a cleaning. we use dto have a floor cleaner, but i squeezed the handle really hard one time because it wsnt pulling. i didnt realize the cord was preventing the lever from going down. so i squeezed and squeezed and i broke it. it still worked, but she couldnt figure oout how exactly is worked. either way, we dont se it anymore. now we just use a big blue bucket, hot water, soap, and a mop. it does a decent job. the floor doesnt look cleaner, but it definately is. regardless it will get dirty again in no time.
